Space Farm Workshop

Robotics and Agriculture

In this workshop, students embark on a mission to another planet, tasked with keeping their plants alive by providing the right nutrients for the planet’s conditions!

Intended Year Group: Year 9, Year 10 & Year 11

Intended Learning Objectives:

  1. Robotics Technical Skill: Arduino Programming, Systems Control and Circuit Building.

  2. Super skill: Presentation and public speaking.

  3. GCSE Curriculum Skills: Fractions and Percentages.

  4. Identify and describe the use of robotics and engineering in the described industry.

Teleoperation Workshop

Robotics and Surgery

In this workshop, students step into the roles of engineers and surgeons, teaming up to perform a life-saving remote operation with the help of robots!

Intended Year Group: Year 7 & Year 8

Intended Learning Objectives:

  1. Robotics Technical Skill: Human-robot interaction/ material science.

  2. Super skill: Problem solving/ team building.

  3. Curriculum Skills: Forces (of robot arm), mass, weight and friction & Coordinates and rotations.

Robotics and Music

In this workshop, students work together to crack codes and solve mysteries in a race to unlock the ancient, treasure-filled Temple of Boom!
